This is an antique coal burning iron. Also known as box iron and chimney iron. Inside there is a trivet, shaped to allow the ash to be dumped out the back. This iron measure approximately 71/2 inch long, 71/2 inch tall 41/2 wide and weight in at just under 7 pounds.
