This Sleeve iron has a cast iron base with wood removable handle. The handle is designed to be removed by pushing a tension clamp style spring on the front of the grip. Allows the user to disconnect the handle so that the iron can be reheated on a stove top. Measure about 8 inch long and it weight about 3 lb. This is a Sensible No 5 as embossed on the iron.
